Asia Side of the Doc is a grand gathering of international documentaries to be participated by decision-makers, producers, investors of leading television stations and other stakeholders. The four-day event will stage a splendid scene full of business opportunities, including intensive yet impartial "Presale Proposal Pitch", flexible "One-for-one Private Meeting", symposiums and seminars of all kinds that "share creativity and showcase inspiration", as well as themed cocktail party and dinner party. Asia Side of the Doc not only facilitates the cooperation and communication between the Asian and international documentary communities, but also drives the improvement and elevation of the documentary market in Asia. Four sessions of Asia Side of the Doc have been held respectively in Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur since 2010. More than 600 distinguished guests from over 50 countries, including 200 decision-makers, will meet in Chengdu, China - a "city of abundance" between March 18 and March 21, 2014.

This session of Asia Side of the Doc is jointly hosted by Sunny Side of the Doc, France, the China Radio and Television Society Documentary Committee, and undertaken by the Municipal Government of Chengdu, Sichuan Shijing Culture and Media Co., Ltd., Oriental Companion Media (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Keyingshidai Culture and Media Co., Ltd..
